Revolution Video Contest

2009 contest is now closed. Please check back for opportunities to enter a submission in the fall of 2010.

Congratulations to Marie Boston and directors Sara and Ben Francis for winning this year's contest!

So you think you are pretty clever…perhaps you would call yourself tech-savvy. You want to spread the message of Jesus. Catholic Christian Outreach invites you to combine any skills you may possess and exercise your creative muscle by creating a short video on the topic “Join the Catholic Revolution.” Want to know about the "Catholic Revolution?" See Andre Regnier's video blog (especially segments one and two posted Oct 7th and 14th) for more info. All submissions will be displayed on the multimedia section of the CCO webpage. Contest winner will have their video played at Rise Up in Winnipeg as well as a seat at the table of CCO Founders Andre and Angle Regnier and CCO President and First Lady Jeff and Rene Lockert at the Rise Up New Year’s Eve banquet. The winning submission will be displayed on the CCO homepage. We encourage the virtue of humility, but also entitle you to bragging rights if you win.

Contest Rules

Your video submission must:

1.    Be 2 to 3 minutes in length.
2.    Include 2 to 4 people.
3.    Be “G-rated,” humorous, and intentional in communicating a positive message related to the contest topic.
4.    Be uploaded on YouTube. Send the link to Eric at eric.myatt@cco.ca.
5.    Be submitted by Wednesday, December 9th, 2009.

Videos can be recorded using amateur equipment such as a digital camera with video capabilities. Please keep in mind that poor sound or video quality may detract from the overall effect of your video. By participating in this contest, you give CCO permission to post your video on this page.

Have fun!
