The CCO Campus Internship Program

The CCO Campus Internship program is the beginning of a new career as a full-time Catholic lay missionary on university campuses.

As a growing university student movement we have had many requests to expand to other campuses in Canada. The possibilities are unfolding like never before. All we need is God's grace to call more labourers!         

Perhaps God is calling you to join our mission! We are looking for mature, faithful, self-motivated, positive, disciplined, and well-rounded young adults who have a zeal for Christ and His Church and a love for souls.
An individual who has discerned, applied, and been accepted enters the Internship Program for the next 7 - 8 months.
The Campus Internship Program combines weekly personalized training in topics such as:

• understanding and defending Church teaching,
• leading small group studies,
• public speaking,
• time management and goal-based planning,
• planning successful large group events,
• teaching and training others in evangelism and leadership.
  

The program also includes assignments and practical reading, including: The Master Plan of Evangelization, Evangelii Nuntiandi, Catholicism and Reason, Seven Habits of Highly Successful People, Theology for Beginners, and Redemptoris Missio.

The Campus Internship Program is designed to train and ensure that new CCO staff are ready to embark on this cutting-edge career. It is also designed to be a final discernment process before joining full-time staff with CCO.

CCO pays interns a modest stipend to cover part of their living expenses and each intern will need to support raise the remainder of their salary for the year. Interns who make a commitment to join staff will begin support raising training in order to fully raise their salary requirements through a team of individuals who pray and donate money for their apostolate.
